Nelson Campos

My Story

Missionary, photographer, married to Adriana and Sophia’s father, Campos listened to the gospel from American missionaries who visited his church as a child and prayed that God would give him the ability to understand English so he could help other missionaries in the Amazon. After learning the language on his own, he started serving as a translator on mission trips. Campos has been a missionary for AMOR since 2012 and has been using his gifts to show people all the work that has been done in the Amazon as a media missionary. He’s also involved in other projects along the river, such as The Bucket Ministry, which provides water filters as a tool for evangelism and a gateway into the villages where the gospel is not well accepted.
